Please join us for an evening of networking and collaborative opportunities as Dr. Ali Bakhshinejad presents a discussion on the formation and evolution of his early-stage startup based in Milwaukee. Dr. Bakhshinejad is the CEO and co-founder of VasoGnosis, an AI-powered diagnostic and surgical planning company that is focused on advancing the treatment of neurovascular diseases. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a former postdoctoral fellow of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Bakhshinejad developed the concept of the VasoGnosis diagnostic tool during his postdoc and then left academia to commercialize his idea. He co-invented the concept with Medical College of Wisconsin faculty members, Drs. Kevin Koch and Andrew Nencka.

After raising some initial funding support from angel investments, Dr. Bakhshinejad is currently raising his first round of venture capitalist funding to help finish the development of VasoGnosis and pilot the technology at two different hospitals, including the Medical College of Wisconsin. At this event, he will be highlighting his entrepreneurial journey and discussing his experience with fundraising for an early-stage deep-tech company with no commercially-available products.

In attendance, there will be representatives from the biotech and healthtech industries, venture capital and angel investors, academia, patent law, technology transfer, startup ventures, and others.

Appetizers and fermented beverages will be provided.

Limited space available so RSVP by Sept. 11th to secure your spot!
